The Marry Me In France team like to think of themselves as pretty down to earth people who are lucky enough to share their lives between the UK and France.

Headed by Christina Colmer McHugh they feel they provide a refreshing alternative to other wedding planners out there, especially those in France.

Originally from County Down, Northern Ireland Christina spent many years travelling, studying and forging a career between Ireland, the UK and France until one day, accompanied by hubby and dog she finally settled for a cross channel life based in the Charente, South West France.

Through her team and partnering organisations, she feels she can bring that certain edge to the business as she has been through marriage herself and the battle to have the wedding of her dreams.

She in fact ended up organising her entire wedding herself as the organisers in her area did not actually listen to her ideas and were even less interested in visualising the sort of day her fiance and her wanted.

So it was, by planning the entire event from another country and dressing the tables and planning the entire event that she realised she worked well with other individuals who played a part in the day.

She found that by clearly making her wishes felt and taking control of the biggest day of her personal life she she loved it! The buzz it gave and the fact that her and her new hubby were able to find that master balance between guest enjoyment and personal enjoyment throughout the wedding made her realise her ten years in the media and entertainments industry could be put to better use on a different level.
